Cotham and St Andrew's, BS6
Walking up the steep hill from the Bristol Royal Infirmary you find
Cotham. This is a prosperous and leafy suburb that features a
lot of large old houses many of which have been converted into
multi-person occupancies.
St Andrew's is immediately to the east of Cotham. Apart from its
popular park, where to have a drink with friends when the sun is
out, St Andrew's is particularly well known by its main street,
Gloucester Road. This long road contains lots of small
independent shops and is well served by public transport with
multiple buses going to and from the city centre. This area is very
popular and counts with a good selection of cafes and pubs.
